Rochester Model Railroad

Last weekend, a friend from church invited us to see an incredible model railroad.  The railroad is modeled on a line that ran from Buffalo to Jersey City.  Abigail and Michael both had a great time!  Abigail even got to run several of the trains by herself.  Next weekend, the club has an open house, so we get to go back.  They can't wait!

Big Brother and Big Sister

Michael and Abigail love their baby sister, Emma.  They think it's fun that she is becoming more interactive!

 Michael checks out Emma's toes.

Emma likes tummy time a lot more when her big sister plays with her on the floor.

100th Day of School

On Monday, Abby's Kindergarten class celebrated the 100th day of school with several fun activities centered around the number 100.  Last week, her teacher sent a note home saying the students could dress up like they were 100 years old as part of the fun (if they wished).  She included several fun suggestions such as wearing a printed skirt, pearls, eyeglasses, scarf, gray hair spray, etc.  Abby told me she didn't want to do it.

Sunday night, I reminded her that the next day was the 100th day of school and once again asked if she wanted to dress up.  When she emphatically answered that she did not want to, I asked her why.  She replied, "I like being five."

I guess I can't argue with that. :)

Michael discovers Heinz

With Michael's LONG list of allergies, we are pretty careful about what he eats.  We recently discovered some fish sticks and chicken nuggets that are "Michael safe."  The night we introduced fish sticks, we also let him try some Heinz Ketchup.  He definitely is related to Grandpa Perry!  He thought the ketchup was the best part of his dinner.  Grandpa would be so proud of this boy!
