Yesterday, we spent the afternoon exploring some fun places in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. We drove from the northern end to the southern tip of Seneca Lake, enjoying the view of the water and the vineyards. At the southern tip of the lake is a place called Watkins Glen. This state park has a trail along a spectacular gorge with nineteen waterfalls. The trail from the bottom to the top of the gorge is 1 1/2 miles of climbing stairs! It was beautiful!
