The Fire Station

A couple of weeks ago, Coley set up a time for us to visit the fire station.  Abby was thrilled!  (I wonder if Michael will ever have the level of enthusiasm for trucks and tractors as Abby!)  The captain was very nice and told Abby she could pretty much do anything short of driving the truck around the block.  She was able to climb inside several different fire trucks and was even able to climb on top of the ladder truck.  What a lucky girl!

Baby Food for Two

Michael went to see the pediatrician last Friday for his 6 month appointment.  He is 19 pounds 2 oz. and is 29 1/4 inches long.  No.... he's not a little baby anymore! :)  Now we are in the process of introducing baby foods to him one at a time.  He is LOVING it!

A couple of days ago, I got braces.  Even though the new systems aren't supposed to be as painful as they used to be, my mouth is still pretty sore.  About the only food that I can comfortably eat so far has about the same consistency of the food Michael can eat right now.  I'm NOT loving it!  (I am excited for the end result of having braces though!)
