Vacation Day # 2: Disneyland!

Day Two of our vacation was Disneyland.  It was a VERY busy day, but we had a great time!  We were finally able to use the tickets from our previous trip when Michael got sick and ended up in the ER at the Children's Hospital.

We began our day by having breakfast with Goofy at the Disneyland Hotel.  It was a special experience for Michael because the chef made him Mickey pancakes that were dairy and egg- free and then brought them out to him.  We had a very happy little boy!  Abby, Michael, and Emma all loved the characters!

Michael was a little photo bomber...  He wanted to follow the characters around (even after they visited our table).  I'm not sure how many pictures with other groups he ended up in.

Even Emma wanted her special time with the characters.  It was really sweet.

Abby, Coley, and Michael enjoy one of the rides in Cars Land.

Michael was amazed with everything he saw.  It is one of the joys of taking little kids to Disneyland!

Abby loved spending the day with her cousin, Olivia.

Olivia loved playing with baby Emma.

It was so fun to have Erika, Sean, and Olivia join us for the day!

Michael was such a big boy on the carousel!

Abby loves riding the horses!

Tara, Abby, and Emma ride the Dumbo ride together!

We had a great day!  In Abby's words, "This was the second best day ever!"

A Day at the Beach

Last week, we flew to Southern California for Coley's graduation from USC.  It was a fast and furious trip, so we were determined to make the most of our time there.  After a very late night flight, we slept in and then spent the rest of our first day at the beach.  As we left the beach, Abby exclaimed, "This is the BEST day ever!"

Michael was ready to hit the waves as soon as his feet his the floor that morning.

Emma was content to just play with her toys at the hotel.

It was a bit cool and windy at the beach.  As long as Emma was snuggled up in the towel with Mama, she was fine.  She was very interested in the change of scenery.

Coley played in the water with Michael and Abby.

Michael had absolutely no fear of the ocean.  He wanted Coley to let go of him in the water.

 Playing in the sand...

What a great way to start our California vacation!
I miss the ocean!

Cute kids!

Here are a couple of new pictures of our cute kids.  Emma is 7 months old and has an irresistible smile. I just want to squish those cheeks!

She is getting pretty good at sitting up on her own to play with her toys.

I tried, once again, to get all three to smile for me at the same time.  This was about as good as it got. :)
I love these three dolls!
