Abby's Dance Recital 2013

Saturday, June 15, was Abigail's dance recital.  She had a GREAT time on stage!  All the little girls in her class had big smiles and no one seemed frightened.  It was a fun afternoon!

Dress Rehearsal

Here we are at the end of another busy school year.  Today was Abigail's dress rehearsal for her dance recital.  Here are a few shots of our evening.

The big day is tomorrow!  Abby said she is not scared AT ALL to go on stage.  I'm sure she's not!

The Box

Boxes are so much fun!  Abby and Michael played and played with their "house" and even ate dinner in it one night.  Everything was great until the rain started early one morning before we were awake to rescue the box. :) 

"Tea Time" with Abby

Right after our trip to California, Abigail's class had a special day for moms or grandmas to come visit.  They had some special gifts for us, we ate ice cream sundaes, and they sang some fun songs for us.

It was fun to see some of the things that Abby has been doing at school and meet her friends.  It's hard to believe that this little one is just a few days away from finishing her Kindergarten year.

Visiting with Family

On our last day in California (May 18), we spent the day with family and friends in Victorville and Apple Valley.  There wasn't enough time in the day, but we enjoyed the time we did have.  Here are a few shots at Erika's house....

Coley's Graduation from USC-Marshall School of Business

May 17 was the big day!  Coley graduated from USC- Marshall School of Business with his Master of Medical Management degree.  Congratulations, Coley!

When we entered the arena to find some seats at the last minute, I had no idea that we would have such a perfect view of Coley on the front row.  Abigail and Michael were super excited to see daddy!

Coley even waved to us on his way to receive his diploma.

A two hour graduation ceremony is a long time to expect three small children to sit still.  I was on my own to keep them entertained, so we did what we could.  We found some seats just as the ceremony was beginning and stayed long enough to cheer for Coley.  At that point, we packed up and headed outside to wait.  A young mom, thinking I was either really brave or really crazy to attend the ceremony with 3 small children by myself, took our picture while we were waiting for Coley.

Abby had to take a little break on our long walk back to the car.  

With Coley's MMM, we are hoping to find him a leadership position in a hospital.

Day 3 of our vacation: Sea World

On Thursday, May 16, we headed to Sea World.  Abby was SO excited to see sea animals!

It was a busy day of shows (dolphins, Shamu, and pets), but we had a fun time.  Abby said it was the third best day ever! :)

 I think this was Abby and Michael's favorite part of the day- petting the rays.  There were lots of giggles and splashes.
